| Many small dogs are stolen from their owners in Hurghada to be sold in the street,or they are abused for breeding. If they don t ,,work,, as breeding machine anymore they are just thrown in the waste where they can hardly survive. Also in the time of growing up they are not beiing treated properly. | |
|
These
animals should not be bought in the streets, because the more they can
sell, the more animals are stolen and bred.
Also the imported animals from the Balkan Countries should not be bought. These animals are taken away from their mother too early to take advantage of the baby image, which is always good for selling. Many times these animals are vaccinated too early and they bring diseases with them, which has the result that the new owner pays much money for the animal and that, when the disease breaks out, after one or two weeks,it dies.In addition to this the animals from the surroundings are also infected with these diseases and then they also suffer and die. |

Patra is a 9 month old female german shepherd. She is a beautiful and
friendly dog (to friendly obviously) She disappeared from our new
building in Al Zahabia last wednesday. After combing the area we
spoke to our nearest neighbour (about 100 metres away) and he said he saw
a dog of her description sitting outside his villa in the shade (sadly he
did not know us or our dog). Apparently a man in a white car stopped
and went to play with her. After 5 minutes he took her away in his
car.
I am heartbroken and desperately want to try and find her. I fear she may have been sold out of the town but, just in case, i am trying to let as many people know as possible. She is called Patra, and answers well to her name. Difficult to describe any real identifying marks but she has a black spot on her tongue, she was wearing a collar with vaccination tag and she is spayed. Please please let as many people know about this as possible so that if anyone is offered a young shepherd or sees one that responds to Patra please let me know. We are willing to give a generous reward for this dog - not because of her money value but because she is a dearly loved and missed dog (the house is just not the same without her) Any suggestions for other areas to search will be welcome. If you have any news our telephone number is 0102517507 (my husband) |
